Way back in 1977 (that’s 175 dog years ago for you dogs out there,) two brothers got together and created a new board game “ruff-ly” based on another popular board game. 

This new game would have a pet theme while including several fun features of other games.  The game added several new revolutionary ideas such as a combined two card decks in one, shortcuts through the board, and even shortcuts within the shortcuts!

• Previous versions had others breeds
• Prototypes were tested with neighborhood kids
• A computer based version was developed in 1990

Now DOGOPOLY is in its 25th anniversary!
